Use lots of fly protection! Sunday morning = quiet. Most importantly - don't forget your tack!

Taking it easy for two horses & riders getting back into work. Walked everything, so pretty slow pace, but with all the long hills and steep inclines it was enough of a work out. Riders and horses worked up a good sweat and did great riding together for the first time too. Great day even though we got a late start. Still cool under the trees and we were the only people there. Only the horse flys were really bad due to the time of year. Almost no deer flys.
*In the midst of switching trailers, I somehow forgot my bridle so I had to improvise with a halter & 2 lead ropes (good thing I didn't forget a helmet). Was still a little worried my horse might take advantage and suddenly think she's Secretariat, but she was a perfect lady, even in the lead & on the way back! Just another reason she's my heart horse❤️ No matter how long she lives my heart will always be riding on Cloud Nine
