These trails could be saved I''d they started to get some use. lots of trees down and understood growth, but I was able to find them and get around the fallen debris. The single track trails, if you knew where they were, could be followed, but it''s not easy. Horses could still get thru here, but not the power line section near the river where I walked. Horses would have to find the old rover crossing, either one of them, and pick up all the well maintained trails on the Harford Co side of the river. Don''t know if I''ll ever get the opportunity to come here again. it was good to relive my youthful days on horseback.

parked in what used to be my neighbors cornfield, found fence that the developer out up when the place was subdivided. lots of McMansion owners has the fence tore down and they helped themselves to extra acreage which they mow and use as their own. I parked on Glenbaur in the caudesac and found the old gate to the parkland. went in and turned left and followed what used to be the old farm road/horse trail around the then crop field, now houses. I picked up the main trail at the old 1950s junk car. At this point the trail was much easier to find and I took it down to the old swimming hole and continued to head east along the river. I could see remnants of our old trails but the single track trails are nearly lost to growth. Came out below Sanders old house on the Ba Co side of Jerusalem Rd near the mill. I then walked Jerusalem up to Glenbaur to my truck. Hard to believe no one in this neighborhood uses the old park trails except to dump their yard waste on.
