TH4 - T401, 403, 404, 405

Hiked SSW on T401 to 403, then 404 then 405 along Cougar Canyon. Notes: - Did not see a "TH4" sign at the parking lot. - Loose strand of wire at TH4. - The drainage ditches along both parking areas is steep and deep, need a high clearance vehicle. Could use smoothing out. - Sign and pole is on the ground at the extra parking lot. - Sign on T405 at the arroyo should be moved or replace label. Bigger questions include: - What distance should cactus be cleared from the side of the trail? - Should boundary fences have slick wire on top and bottom? Should existing fences be retrofitted?
