Under rainy skies, volunteers cleared 7 trees off several sections of the 4 Notch Loop trail. Scouts were scheduled to install two crib ladders on a steep gully and we wanted to clear the path for them and their materials/tools. While in the area, cleared a few more easy-to-access trees and replaced a couple of damaged signs. One hiker walked through, seemed happy his Walmart poncho was keeping him dry in the rain. We had grand plans to do some work on the campsite, but "even chickens get out of the rain", so we decided to get coffee instead and dry out.
