For their second backpacking trip, I picked out Frog Lake at Henry Coe as our destination on Memorial Day weekend. The park was very busy but thank god for single-tent sites. :)It rained and was colder than anticipated but not bad and a good time was had by all.
Hiking/Backpacking
The tracks from both days were edited into one and include some meandering around park headquarters and a side trip of the short Ponderosa trail loop on the way back.Backpacking campsites outside of the designated wilderness areas in the park are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be reserved in person at the park.Photos were manually placed on the map.
