Bamei Village is located at the junction of Banda Township and Akke Township in the north of Guangnan County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The village is surrounded by mountains. Before entering and leaving the village, the villagers mainly rely on two natural limestone karst water caves in front of the village and behind the village (more than 800 meters long respectively). A 3.5 km long road into the mountain has been built to facilitate production and life. Due to its remote location and inconvenient transportation, it is difficult to communicate with the outside world, and Ba Mei Village has been isolated from the outside world for a long time, in a semi-closed state, with a long flow of fine sources and peach blossoms in full bloom, similar to the paradise described by Tao Yuanming. So it is called the paradise. 坝美村位于云南省文山州广南县北部八达乡和阿科乡交界处，村子四面环山，进出寨子以前主要靠村前村后两个天然的石灰溶岩水洞(分别长800多米)，村民们要摸着岩壁趟水、撑竹筏、划独木舟、坐小船，经过800米长的幽暗水洞进出，从小法段公路修筑了一条3.5公里长的进山公路以方便生产生活。由于地处偏僻，交通不便，很难与外界交往，坝美村长时期与外世隔绝，处于半封闭状态，加上细源流长、桃花盛开，酷似陶渊明所述的世外桃源。故被称为世外桃源。
