Ten followers took the chance for TC's Sunday ride to Burnham as the afternoon was supposed to be very wet. We arrived at Black Park for morning coffee in good order but post coffee, three of the group dropped out - Lawrie to go to watch Watford play Southampton (he must have enjoyed the tedious nil nil draw) Colin on some sort of secret mission for Rob Roy and Little Miss Kiss and Tell on some sort of assignation. On the way to Burnham it started to rain so a quick stop for the donning of wets was required. However, as we left after lunch in the Five Bells, the rain stopped and the sun came out. Following tea at Iver GC the group headed back to Uxbridge. A nice day out with TC Puffing Loiterer Gentleman and Scholar of the Day Award goes to Jimbo because he asked me to say something nice about him.
