Katvan - Alexander point -Matheran- Hashyachi Patti-Umbarne-Ambewadi

we started from Karjat. Direct Vehicle to the Katwan village from where we started ascend. ascend is very normal and can be doable by family. Very beautiful path and nature on the route. Took 2 and half hours to reach the top Alexander point. Then we did a flat walk for 1.5 hours towards malang point. There we can see a gate for Hashyachi patti. from there we can descend. Up to hashyachi patti route is clean n clear. you can see steps there. The actual difficult part started after Hasychi patti towards umbernewadi route is not marked or hidden in the grass. followed ramblr to get paths further. Some points are tricky. A guide is not required if you know how to handle ramblr.when we got on the flat surface near umbranewadi there were few water streams. one big water flow. you need some help if you are doing it in the fully rainy season. Don't do solo or with 2..3 people. after umranewadi we reached Ambewadi. 6..7 kms flat walk. Beautiful route if you need some adventure .I marked moderate due to hasyachipatti to umbranewadi some difficult patch in Raine season otherwise it is easy trek.
