Olperer 3476 m 11401 ft.

Early Morning Start at the Parklot at Schlegeis Speicher, Well worn Trail up to Olperer Hut. The good Trail continued towards Riepengrat 2840 m 9315 ft. with Cross. The Trail or path is less obvious between the Boulders but the direction is clear to get up to the Ridgeline and followed it along towards Olperer, occasional cairns help with Route-choice. Next is Schneegupf which was almost Snow free and could be bypassed on the left side and over some loose Scree, Cairns guide along the way, a few staples and pegs help for the most exposed section up the wall and the final Ridgeline towards the Highpoint with Cross and Register. Was good to have Dry Rock as it could be slippery and the expose is great. A few other Rope parties have been already on the Summit coming up from Gerauer Hut and the Northridge which apparently is a bit more difficult. Returned the same way back down to Olperer Hut for a Drink and a few Pictures of the famous Instagram Bridge near the Hut, Many Tourists at the Hut and along the Trail back to the Parking Lot. A Great Tour which has a Little bit of everything, Nice and easy Trail, Scree, climbing and exposure, most important are dry Conditions.
