Peña de la Cruz (2027 m)

From Highway A-92 up to Padre Negro for a South Side approach. While I did not Park at an official Trailhead nor did I followed a Trail. Did the navigation with The Peakbagger Topomap following the Roads for driving and later to get me up this Beauty. From my Parking I followed the Road further up, a Left turn in the Road and a traverse to the end of the Road, A nice little Trail keeps going behind some Houses before hitting Road again and up towards the Mountain. Once you reach the Cabin you have the Big Slope in Front of you leading up to the Saddle. From here on I followed an imaginary Trail through the Low Brush. Not really any trail but more like Horse Trails or Paths. Not bad going but again no official Trail I followed. Once at the Saddle is basically just cross country over the Rocks and crossing over to the Summit with a Cross and Trig Pillar. Took me about an Hour to get up. Great Views over the Sierra Nevada Range where I was up yesterday. Returning pretty much the same way. The Dozen Horses or so above the Saddle was just a Bonus to this Great Hike.
