From my Parking Space on the Side of the Road I went across and followed a Forest Road for a short Distance before choosing a direct line toward the Summit Tower. (Probably the Shortest Route but not the Best). The Ground was wet and slippery with many Leaves and fallen Trees to get over and under. The steepest Part is just before getting up to the Tower which was open and other Hikers being up there. Unfortunately the View was not that great today and I left shortly after. Circled around the Tower and checking out the Trig Marker behind the Tower. Pretty much returned the same way being extra careful not to fall on the wet and slippery slope. With more time on hand I would check out an alternative and better route. Not really recommend my route to anyone.
