Leave IMHC (Iron Mountain Horse Camp), thru Cooks Corner, to the Meadows, go down the ravine in the Meadows to the right and thru gate to travel the dry bed of Rock Creek, go to Raven Cliff, cross the river, turn right, cross the river again, turn right onto Collin’s Cove Road. Go into the gated community and take a left on Patch Drive. Note-make sure horses have had plenty of water at river bc long haul up this road to the next water source. Follow Patch Dr to VA Highland trail (right beside rock road), and follow VA Highland trail back to horse camp. (Can alter last leg by going thru Devil’s Den for a little shorter route back- at intersection of VA Highland and Mike’s Gap trail, go straight across for Devil’s Den trail.)
