KayLena and I went to Sundance today and there had been considerable snow melt from the last time we rode there. That being said, we still encountered pockets of very deep snow. My horse hit the first deep spot and fell over twice as he tried busting thru. I think he wasn't expecting it to be so deep! Because of the deep snow at the end of Reuter Springs trail we took the mountain pass back to the trailhead. (same way we rode in from the parking lot). Probably another month before things will be totally passable.
