Today was pretty hot day and most of it was spent walking through open paddocks so there was very little shade. It was a relatively easy day although I knew I would have one big hill to climb right at the end of the day.
I set off before 7am which is a record for me and meant that I finished a little earlier than normal which was great given the higher temperatures today.
The first part of the day walking through Worlds End was very pretty but later on the terrain had changed to walking through paddocks. The final hill of the day was quite steep and the signage at the top of the hill a little confusing but a 2pm finish meant a nice relaxing afternoon at Huppatz Hut. I was later joined by a Dutch cyclist whose name I can’t remember but it was great having someone to chat to during the evening.
