Last night we stayed at the newly established campsite in the Inman Valley. It has toilets, water, rubbish bins and even a sink. It also happens to have the advantage of being across the road from the general store so coffee was one of the first objectives of the day. I needed the caffeine boost to fire me up Sugarloaf Hill. Guthook has an error in this section as it shows a sudden v shaped drop and then ascent but in fact the hill just keeps on ascending. I bumped into a group of 4 walking and one of them recognised me as she is an old scholar of the school I work in. I knew I had to walk through the undulating Myponga Conservation Park today and wasn’t looking forward to it as I fell last time I was here but this time things went a little more smoothly. A road walk completed the km for the day.
