Don't go to Yesnaby on a windy day. It's windy up there even on a calm day. A windy day can be downright dangerous! As always, sturdy, waterproof footwear is a good idea. You might need to navigate mucky areas from time to time.

This is one of my favorite walk at Yesnaby. You'll be making your way out to an Iron Age broch, which (of course) should be treated with gentleness and respect. It's not too far and not difficult, though there are stiles and rough ground to navigate.
