Most of the trail isn’t shaded although you can walk along the tree lines for some, but we made it a point to stay hydrated. Really enjoyed our afternoon and this trail and will definitely go back, but probably not on another hot summer day! Also, bring a dog if you have one - they will love the hike and Woofstock park!

Took my little dude Mr. Holden Oversoul on a short hike near home today. It’s perfect for canine companions because there is a great dog park - Woofstock - at the trail head of the Noonday Creek Woodstock portion (there is another separate segment of Noonday Creek trails in Kennesaw).
The trail is in a residential area and paved but still has an “out in nature” vibe. There are parts you can venture into the bush and the water but you have to be careful and not hit private property.
I am new at geocaching but apparently not great at it. There are several on the trail and I only found one. C’est la vie.
