At the first glimmer of light (5 a.m.!), we scampered to the beach to see the most amazing sunrise! After breakfast, we wandered into town and explored the beaches to the south of Montezuma. We discovered the most amazing tidal pools near the Soda Típica Las Palmeras. There were many colorful fish that were trapped until the next high tide. Later, we stopped at Jessica's Bakery Cafe and ordered papaya batidos (milkshakes) to tie us over until supper! Catch you later! ~Storyhiker
