Phelps Clearing

Objective was to clear the LSHT from where it crosses FSR 2014 going down station. Drove back FSR 2014, encountered several large trees across the road, cleared them. Parked at a partially washed out culvert, then hiked to the end of the FSR, then continued on towards Evelyn Lane on the old road bed noting there had been some previous clearing. Back to the LSHT, cleared yaupon, small trees and branches that were blocking for trail for several hundred yards. There are trees across the trail that will need a chainsaw to clear, and more trail to clear yaupons off of.
