Road Trip: NJ/NY – Jiyoung | Paragon Sports | Alan L.

So many downed trees, fallen billboard signs and roadside corns blown all over the streets in the city due to the gusting winds caused by the tropical storm Isaias! Didn’t know that’s what people meant by Manhattan being desolated and wild! I was picturing coyotes, cougars and black bears roaming all around and hijacking the MTA! 🤣😂🤣 My first time visiting Manhattan and Brooklyn since the breakout of COVID-19; surprised to see how empty the city remains even after the gradual reopening process... only handful of pedestrians walking on streets. Most people on the roads in the city were essential workers, mostly those who are engaged in construction projects. Not quite sure if it’s due to the tropical storm and inclement weather or has been this way since mid-March. Apart from the unexpected road closures, it was the most stress-free drive in Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn with hardly any traffic. —————— 1) Jiyoung - catching up 2) Paragon Sports - picked up two pairs of Solomon trail running shoes from the online clearance sales; curve-side pick-up. 3) Alan - delivering fresh microbrews straight out of Asheville, NC 4) Speedway - pumping gas
