$3/adult admission fee is much more reasonable compared to $17/adult at Chimney Rock State Park. I tried to muscle up and do the whole loop, but carrying Felix in the Deuter bag along with water, his juice, food, snacks amongst other items, which comes up to be about 50 lbs, I found out very quickly I wouldn’t be able to hike out by 17:00 when the trails close. The waterfall from the viewpoint was very nice, but little too far. Guess you have to access the bottom of the cliff to get the most out of the hike.
