A beautiful large park with extensive trail systems that stretch all the way to Ringwood SP and beyond. Being the same region as Harriman, Sterling Forest, Black Rock Forest and Bear Mountain, the terrain and scenery are not particularly unique or original, but felt far less crowded, which was what we needed in the midst of wide-spreading novel COVID-19. There are scenic tent sites by Scarlet Oak Pond, which are far from the street noises and perfect for weekend car camping. I’ll definitely return for future trail running and explore some more! Glad I found another amazing park relatively nearby home.
