Hoppy Tr’Ale – Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. (4.5/5)
Fruitliner Weisse (Berliner Weisse)
Super fruity with a hint of sour and tartness; suitable in hot humid summer days. Greater starter. Delicious! (5/5)
Frutteto (Mixed Berry Sour)
Lots of sour and tart raspberries with a nice smooth finish of oakiness. Perfectly well-balanced! (5/5)
Seal Kisses (Rosé Ale)
Not very rosé in color; more like a hybrid between rosé and golden ale. Has subtle Pinot Noir taste to it; but once again, the golden lager takes over the tasting notes. Slightly off to me. (3/5)
Effortless Grapefruit (Session IPA)
Strong grapefruit aroma, soft and mild in taste; has lots of grapefruity aftertastes with slight bitterness. Well brewed, but not my favorite. (4/5)
Batten Ramen (2.5/5)
Ordered a bowl of Champon ramen with pork broth, slices of thin pork meats, seafood and veggies with a small bowl of fried rice for Felix. Both the ramen and fried rice are mediocre at best and nothing particularly noteworthy.
