Road Trip: New Haven/Newport/Boston/Philadelphia

Expedia/Budget EWR/Fullsize/Kia/2019 Optima Miles Out: 4,581 Miles In: 5,282 Miles Driven: 701 (Attn: The discrepancy comes from the app crashing and not tracking the distance from home to The Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.) Gas-1: 9.545 gallons @ $2.619/gallon = $25.00 Gas-2: 12.892 gallons @ $2.479/gallon = $31.96 Total Gas: 22.437 gallons MPG = 31.24 ================= 9/12/2019 1) Roc-N-Ramen Caribbean Ramen! Jerk Chicken Tonkotsu-based Ramen... oh my oh! Fun and quite delicious! 2) Mayflower Motel Decent motel just for the night. Relatively clean; no bugs/roaches; hot shower; toilet flushes; hard mattress... I don’t understand why it’s rated less than 2 stars... totally livable! Or, my expectations are super low, but hey, I spent days in refugee camps without an access to running water, toilets, toilet paper, electricity or basically anything. Conclusion: Materialism and capitalism are pure EVIL. ================= 9/13/2019 3) Cedarhurst Café 4) Yale University Art Gallery (http://rblr.co/01vX0) ... while the guests from Poland are exploring the university campus... Surprise, surprise! Turned out it was a great museum full of impressive collections of art pieces from the ancient times to modern days from around the globe. This free gallery is a must-see while in town! 5) Brown University Campus walk; kinda reminded me of the Univ. of Delaware with the brownstone buildings and open square with lush green grass in the middle. A statue of a standing brown bear was iconic! lol 6) Patriots ProShop @ The Gillette Stadium 7) NCAA Div-1 Boston College Eagles vs Kansas Univ. Jayhawks @ The Alumni Stadium (http://rblr.co/01v6T) 8) Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill TIME: “There's a Full Moon Due on Friday the 13th for Most of the U.S. The Next One Isn't for Another 30 Years” https://time.com/5673236/full-harvest-moon-friday-13th/ ================= 9/14/2019 9) New England Aquarium’s Whale Watch 10) Quincy Market 11) The Ginger Man 12) Boston City Walk – (Part of...) Freedom Trail (http://rblr.co/01yRy) 13) Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) 14) Harvard University 15) Dinner @ Porcini’s ================= 9/15/2019 16) Boston Red Sox vs Philadelphia Phillies @ The Citizens Bank Park (http://rblr.co/0202r) 17) Hoppy Tr’Ale – Tonewood Brewing Co. Freshies (American Pale Ale): Smooth, clean, hoppy, light with slightest hint of bitterness that go well with the hop. Lovely summer-time starter! (4.5/5) SAMSO (Dry-Hopped Saison): Yet another clean, light and hoppy ale with floral notes. Good quality but somewhat similar to Freshies in style and notes. Revolution (Coffee Porter): Medium-light bodies Porter with lots of coffee beans and slightest hint of vanilla, yet unsweetened. Tastes burst even chilled. No need for it to warm-up and/or open-up. By far, my fav! Decided to carry home a 32oz crowler. (5/5) Taking out Rift (American IPA) and Improv (Double Dry-Hopped DIPA). Ended up taking out the 32oz crowler of Revolution after tasting it. 18) ZZ Top/Cheap Trick/Marquise Knox @ BB&T Pavilion (http://rblr.co/021sh) ================= 9/16/2019 19) Mitsuwa Marketplace 20) Hmart Ridgefield
