NYC: Kiss "End of the Road" World Tour @ Barclays Center

Kiss "End of the Road" World Tour https://www.kissonline.com/ An unique opening act by David Garibaldi who demonstrated the paintings of David Bowie, John Lennon and the whole band members of who else but Kiss live on stage to auction them and raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation! I have never seen an opening act like this one and found it pretty amusing and entertaining. Kiss didn’t hit the stage until almost 20:30, but made up by playing all the classics for two straight hours. Now I know what people mean by the loudest concert experience. It’s not their music that’s so loud, but rather the fireworks and dynamite crackers that they blast that are loud as hell. I was wondering if the pedestrians outside the venue reported any potential explosions. LOL They literally set the stage on fire with all the fireworks and fireballs. I could even feel the heat from the upper level. It was a pure fun and entertaining set though it was much too cheesy at times like blowing alcohol on fire, vomiting blood, zip-lining and stages going high up and down... lol Felt very much like I was watching a circus or New Year celebration at Times Square, but it’s how the band entertains and engages the crowds for all these years... decades, I should say. As cheesy as it was, I certainly did get drawn into it and enjoyed the evening much more so than I had expected not being a big Kiss fan by any means. P.S. It was notable that the band chose to keep the old school stage setup in a way that the piled up the amplifiers. So, all the sounds were coming from the stage like the good old days. Technically, they could create more surround system, but they did not. Might have been better if they had fully utilized the technology this venue offers.
