EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: 1) Know your route and bailout options because we may not necessarily hike together the whole way based on the individuals' pace. 2) Download the GPS and offline map of the area in MAPY, OSM, OCM or USGS Topo based on your preference; but do not use Google Road, Terrain, Satellite or Hybrid... or else buy a paper map. 3) Do not forget to pack a power bank esp., if relying on the GPS and electronic map. 4) Bring water filter/pump/purifier. 4) Pack light. 5) Bring extra layers, rain gear, gaiters and sleeping bag and ultralight backpacking mattress in case you have to spend the night at any of the campsites or lean-to's along the trail so that you can at least cowboy-camp and remain warm. 6) Bring enough trail mixes, granola bars, electrolytes, etc to remain energized throughout. 7) Pack a first aid kit. 8) Don't forget the headlamp and spare batteries. We will start and finish in dark most probably.
