If I don't write the ride story up when I get back, I struggle to remember what went on. Basically Mr Sparkle attracted a large group of followers for his Sunday ride. First stop was at Crumbs in Chalfont St Peter, then on to the Wetherspoon's at Beaconsfield for lunch and finally Denham Church for tea and cake then back to Uxbridge. That's about it - oh just remembered - 10 starving ducklings turned up at our table at Wetherspoon's, but everyone had finished their lunch except for Brian who had one chip left. Did he give it to the birds? Did he hell ! Despite protests from one and all. he shoveled it into his mouth instead of giving it to the ducklings - the poor things are probably dead now - how can you sleep at night Brian? Puffing Loiterer Bizarre Request of the Day Award goes to John for his: "Jim, will you take up your usual position ?"
