Maragang Hill is located at Mesilou, Kundasang and is at the foothill of Mt. Kinabalu. This hill is famous for its beautiful scenery at the peak where you are so close to Mt Kinabalu. There is a platform at the peak where you could have 360 deg landscape view. The forest itself is so charming with trees covered with mossy.

Hiking/Backpacking

A guide is necessary for people to hike Maragang Hill. Advance booking has to be done through Maragang Hill office or it’s Facebook page of Maragang Hill. Recommended for sunrise hike, you need to be at the registration counter at ~3am but is worth it! During raining season, hike with water proof shoes and hiking poles are recommended.
