One day hike. Returned early morning on day 2. Samrad to Ratangad is quite straightforward. Can cover the nedhe and descend from ganesh darwaja. all water cisterns/nimbu pani available till T junction only. Katrabai to Kumshet descent is a bit slippery at dawn. A lot of water streams in October during the descent.

if you are planning to stay at the base village and return to Pune early, there is a bus which leaves for Rajur at 6am (which comes there overnight) and the other bus which comes from rajur Around 10 am. shall help you reach rajur in 1 hour 30 mins. Bus from Rajur to Pune at 12.30 pm (comes from other base) and the one which leaves from Rajur around 2.45 pm.
