Highlight today at the endpoint; Navasota is cool and caught under sunset light. No camping option in town. Was going to hotel again before I found a VFW online. Called them and was immediately invited to camp on their property. A handful of members hanging out until 8:00pm closing time were a blast to talk with. A perfect spot of fluffy grass to tent on. Day's ride was more rural, mellow roads. A little bit of traffic at times. Still a lot of forest land but I see it thin the further west I go.
