171112Su Waveland, MS to New Orleans, LA

Today is Extreme Sunday Funday because it's football season and I'm riding in to New Orleans! Rained overnight and more in store this afternoon. But I can beat it! Actually it drizzled on me early and then the rain never materialized in my western lands. The drizzle almost soaked me but let up just before I got that cold drip down the crack of my ass. And once the air grew dry so did my clothes in the breeze of my ride. The clouds even broke and I saw The Big Easy basked in sunshine. This post is most all my ride in. I'll share NOLA pics next. But this route was impressive through deep bayou country. Seeing the East and now Gulf Coasts gives perspective to the wide range of coastal possibilities. This is the opposite of a cliff; miles of marsh making it not a spot but an area. Beaches (and the West Coast in general) are that much more special. I'm acquiring a special appreciation of US geography. Get me started on the topic next time we meet. For now, here's a hundred slices of what I've seen.
