Heavy rains this early morning. Decided to delay my hike until later. The area I normally visit, for me, is a delightful place for an early morning hiking adventure. Several Buddhist temples are found there, as well as Indian temples at the level. Elevation can reach 1000 feet in some places, and there is an abundance of hiking trails on which to explore the mountainous terrain. My starting time is usually about 0530 AM and last until around 0700 AM, usually dark at the beginning and with just a glimmer of dawn when I end. The elevation is such that it results in extended heavy breathing for long periods as I make my way upward. Truly an enjoyable workout.
