The government has effectively fenced/gated entrances to several hiking areas to lessen or prevent unlawful entry by groups of people. However, this morning on my return to lower levels I passed two groups of more than six people each who were on their way up, and none wore masks. It seems that since the government lessened some restrictions on the movement of people there are those who have also relaxed their desire to conform to the rules, not only here in Malaysia but is also true in other countries. This increases the danger of the virus spreading and undue some hard won gains. Extreme caution is advised! Keep well.
