Level terrain, relatively flat , valley terrain. Fan Creek. this is not difficult trail, along the creek level. taking the Fawn Creek trail up the mountain to the Bighorn Trail Loop. atmosphere is windy, and smokey from CA fires. descending to Bighorn Trail is steep, but solid trail. we followed Bighorn trail back out to trailhead. from Bighorn trailhead we road up highway about 1 1/2 mile to our rigs. Nice trail, beautiful fall changes. 1st day's ride. on map, Fan Creek trail is tangent off of loop.
