First trip up Wahweap Creek from Big Water, to Wahweap Hoodoos, white spires with colored toadstools. very nice ride up the creek and flood plain. Eight in party at start- Brooke, Kadynce, Monica Z, Wes, Sky, and 2 Brooke friends. beautiful desert scenery, small lizards, tons of jackrabbits. trailhezd is at fish hatchery, behind town. Wesson rode Jackie very well. i rode Phoenix, and he did well for not being out much. we worked on separation anxiety, and walking back under control. he kept putting his tongue over the bit.
