Hike up Australia’s highest peak. Starting in Thredbo up the ski runs to the Eagles nest, then on to the summit. While not as challenging as some climbs I have done. It is a real mountain. And the lower part, if you don’t take the lift, is steep. Enjoyed it very much. There was construction at the summit so not a great pic of the monument

Hiking/Backpacking

Many of the trails were closed due to trail work and washouts. Ended up going strait up under the lifts for more than half of the climb. Not difficult once past the lift. But it is another 4 miles to the summit after the lift.
