Jôf di Miezegnot / Malborgether Mittagskofel 2087 m 6845 ft

Upper Parking Lot near to the Chapel at Malga Saisera 1004 m 3293 ft Well signed but steep Trail up to Rifugio Grego 1389 m 4556 ft. Which was still closed today, (Alternative is a Forest Road leading also up to Rifugio Grego 1389 m 4556 ft. ). But much longer and nit really an option for me today. Should have stayed on this Road from the Refugio leading up to Sella di Sompdogna 1392 m 4566 ft. but went left on a Trail which was also ok but quiet a detour not necessary, From Sella di Sompdogna 1392 m 4566 ft. I was again on the correct Trail, Well signed and Paint marked up to Bivacco Battaglione Alpini Gemona 1890 m 6199 ft. ( This Hut is build on the Site of WW1 Ruins with Fantastic Views and some resting Benches. Also the Summit is nit far away and can be seen already, although getting there more challenging on a Loose and eroding Gravel Path, Some Cable Protection help along the more eroded Sections. On the Summit Plateau are also some more Ruins from WW1 along a unique Summit Cross and Register. Grat Views in all Directions including Triglav and the impressive Jôf di Montasio in the South. Returned the same way back without the Detour. A Fantastic Half Day Tour
