Hochplettspitz

From the Parking Lot along the Road to get to the Trail which is Signed, well marked and easy to follow. On the way up I briefly lost the Trail and followed a Game-trail to reach the Road at the Hunter-stand which was easy to follow again. Soon we reached the Viewing Platform at Hollerberg which we visited on our Return. The Road continues for a short distance before turning right following the Marked Trail to the Summit in the Forest with Limited Views. Summit Register is mounted to a Tree. Views across to Schafberg and the Dachstein Region. Upper Part of the Hike had some Snow on it and Lower down a bit Wet and Dirty but no Problem. On our return we went up the Viewing Platform which has a much better Location to enjoy. Great to be above the Clouds and enjoy the Panorama from Traunstein to the East and the Bavarian Alps to the West. Pleasant Temperatures the whole Day and being a Sunday quiet a few People on the Trail as we continued down the Trail. We passed by Jubiläumsbaum before returning to our Car.
