Kremsmauer

A Great Tour with my Sister to Kremsmauer. We got an early 6:00 am Start at Kremsursprung following the well marked Trail up to Pamstalleralm which is left-side of the Trail and is not directly on the Trail. The Trail itself was steep and slippery because of the recent Rain. Another half an hour or so and some steep Cable protected sections we reach the Törl which is a Rock window and passage. (Register can be found here). Again on well marked Trail we descend a bit and follow the Path till the next junction where we kept left ascending a loose slope up to the Summit area. A few more cable sections and we are up at the East-Summit (Pyramid) and the Big Cross with Register. The Main Summit is a little further along the Ridge marked with a smaller Cross and Register. The View would be fantastic from both Peaks if not not for the Clouds looming around today. On our descent we followed along the Ridge not really marked but the many Cairns make Route-finding an none issue. After reaching another Cross from Alpenverein Kirchdorf an der Krems we descent the Ridge and followed the faint Trail back to our ascent route close to Törl. After passing through we followed the Trail back down passing by Pamstalleralm this time. We choose a direct path down cutting off some distance but took far longer and can not be recommended when wet. Was quiet busy with several parties ascending as we came down. A Great Peak and Route which can be recommended for Summer with an early Start.
