Great Hike but way too busy on this Sunday afternoon. Was surprised when I arrived and saw this many Cars lined up on both sides of the road altogether the weather was not even that great. Quickly I made the way up the Road to the Gate and Trailhead. Nicely signed trail towards La Concha which is the furthest out point on the Ridgeline but not the Highpoint. The Trail was a bit muddy and slippery which did not matter much lower down but could be an issue further up on the cable protected scrambling sections. I was amazed about the Shoe choices of some Hikers, not in my wildest dream I would attempt this Mountain in Sunday’s Best. Cerro del Lastonar about midway of the Ridgeline was my Hiking Goal and Highest Point as I saw no purpose of getting out any further with limited visibility. Close to the Summit which is marked with a Cairn I disturbed a couple of Chamois at their afternoon nap. Returning pretty much the same way and making a right turn up to Cruz de Juanar which is a short but steep dirt trail all the way to the Summit Cross. Took a few more pictures and followed another steep and loose trail down to my ascent route and back to my Car. Actually a nice little Hike but way too busy for my liking.
