ATTENTION!!!, This Hike goes though Private Property. From Hwy A-339 I took a lesser Road to my Parking Spot on the side of the Road. It starts with a Short Hike up to the Gate which was Locked but easy to get around but stating Private Property, I just went past and kept walking up the Road for another Mile it so till another Gate. A Fence Gate. It was closed but not locked with more Signs. I closed the Gate behind me and went on a bit further till the Road drops down a bit and goes straight to a Working Farm. There is another Gate which I just jumped over and keep walking the road at which point the Road would turn right and away from the Farm. But as of now i was at the Farmhouse and sure enough I was caught by a Lady, presumably the Farmers Wife and she told me to just leave and stating Privado. Since I don’t speak Spanish I could not even make a Case that was just walking the Road. Anyway I had to leave for now but what to do now ??. I just walked away and out of Sight of the Farm and turned into the Bushes in the Hope to get around and join the Road further up. I got a lucky Break and could follow some Animal Trails for a bit, not saying it was good but it got me around the Farm and going towards the Peak. Further up the Road there is another Building on the right but is abandoned and nothing to worry. After this Building the Road ends and a sort of Trail continues. Looks like an Old Abandoned Road overgrown and brush at times. It was also wet today and muddy further up. Follow this some Sort of Road/Trail and Brush for a good half mile and then turning to your Left towards the Summit. Occasionally I found a Cairn but no pattern. Not really good going over Talus and Low Brush. Eventually the Summit comes to Sight in the Distance and over more Talus you will reach the Trig Pillar. Returned the same way but found a Road near the abandoned Building leading up and my hope was to get further away from the Farm. This turned out not to be the case and the Road just ends up there, had to get back down to my ascent traverse. A little detour it was but worth the try. Did not really enjoy this Hike. For Future Hikers, either check out a complete different Starting Point and Trailhead or follow my Lead and stay out of Sight of the Farm. The fact remains this is a Working Ranch all the way to the Summit and you are on Private Property at all times.
