Pinto Ridge High Point & Razorback Ridge High Point

Parking Lot from North Shore Road. Ample Space for a couple of Cars. Made this a Loop Hike and combined it with Razorback Ridge, From the Parking lot made my way up to Pinto Ridge which is mostly easy going following some Sheep Trails and Dessert Terrain. The Summit is marked with a Stake at the Broad Summit Plateau, Unfortunately no Register found but the views are amazing overlooking the Pinto Valley and Lake Mead further South as well as seeing the opposite Razorback Ridge which was my next Peak, walking along the Pinto Plateau before dropping down in the Valley. The going is steep here and I had to weave around a bit to avoid getting cliffed out, Nothing difficult here it just takes a bit of patience and looking around for the best option to descent, Once into the Wash you stumble onto a Road which you can follow into a westerly direction till ascending straight up to Razorback Ridge. Again the difficulty is not much here. After a couple of false Summits you will reach the Highpoint where you find a Register. On a my way back to the Car, I basically stayed High on the Ridgeline or as close as possible for quiet a distance before dropping back into the Valley and onto the Road which I could follow back. (Road / Sheep Trails). An enjoyable outing to make this a Loop Hike. Happy Hiking, Josef
