11/27/21 Lagomarsino Petroglyphs 2nd Lagomarsino Petroglyphs hiking for about 11.5 miles in 800 ft in 8 hours and 25 minutes. 4.5 hours to Lagomarsino Petroglyphs and 3 hours 50 minutes back. 9:20am started at Trailhead 1:50pm arrived Lagomarsino Petroglyphs 2:20pm heading back 5:45pm back with last 2 miles hiking after sunset and last one mile dark https://www.gaiagps.com/public/a0W4PGl4QTlCSLWVPNXIo242 Failed in the 3rd attempts for Lagomarsino Petroglyphs site due to "Private Property Beyond This Point Trespassers Can Be Shot" on Lousetown Road entrance. Better not to take the risk !!!! 1st attempt on 1/29/2012 for 14.8 miles failed due to hiked to wrong direction with lack of location information; 2nd attempt on 7/23/2012 for 8.8 miles failed due to thunder and rain, expect within one mile to the site. 3rd attempt on 9/4/2016 was expected OK with worse case of 20 miles and not much elevation gain. But, Trespassers can be shot warning resulting in changing to try from Neigh Road which is not easy to hike due to much more elevation gain 4th attempt on 1/14/2018 successfully to Lagomarsino Petroglyphs 5th attempt on 11/27/2021, almost gave up at about 1pm as expected will be difficult to hike back at dark.
