Road is very rutted in places. Heavy trucks were in & out, with logging in process just beyond our turnaround point. Much of the roadside vegetation had been cleared near there.

Rockingham Bird Club field trip, driving with some foot travel. Highlights included Cerulean Warbler at highest elevation and lots Blackburnian Warblers, with females of both species seen collecting nest material. About 13 warbler species in all. Also found Scarlet Tanagers & Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. On the lake: a Common Loon & three Ruddy Ducks.
