Parked on the side of Road L1296 (Offensee Straße) at 6:00 am and made my way up the Trail in light rain towards Hiaslalm. This first Section is in the Forest, so the Rain didn’t really matter much. Took an extended Break at Hiaslalm to wait for the Weather to pass which eventually did happen. The Trail is well marked and easy to follow with many Steep Switchbacks the higher you get. Once topping out at the Ridge it’s about a half Mile along the Ridge to the Summit with its unique Summit Cross in the Shape of a Bow. The Name of the Peak is Eibe (Yew Tree) which was used to make Bows back in the Middle Age. Fantastic Views from the Peak overlooking Traun-Lake on one side and Offen-Lake on the other with the Dachstein Mountain in the Distance. Returned the same way without the Rain
