A very Popular and Prominent Peak in the area. I had the Huge Carpark on the Northern Trailhead at El Robleda to myself at Night but early Morning the First Cars rolled in already, it was a Saturday Morning after all. The Trail is well marked, signed and easy to follow. Once close to the Summit I went in a direct line cross country up to Cerro del Sol first which is marked by a Cairn on this Huge Plateau and according to the Topomap it’s even Higher as Moroma itself which you can see in the near distance. Went on and over to Cima de Tejeda which is even higher by a few feet and also marked by a few Cairns lined up in Circles. Hard to tell a few Feet of Height Difference on the Flat Plateau. I then went across and slightly downhill before Hiking up to Moroma the Main Peak itself. It’s Monument and Trig Pillar can be seen from afar. For a better view I had to climb up to the Pilar. Careful the second last step from the top is loose. In the Wind-shelter next to it I noticed a Tent and a Guy enjoying his Breakfast, what a Lovely Place to spend the Night. I went over and we spoke a bit. A Spanish Guy who spoke little English but told me the Temperature was -8 Celsius in the Morning, not bad in Comparison I had 0 Celsius at the Trailhead. Went back down the Trail where many Hikers just ascent. Definitely a busy Peak at least on Weekends. Very enjoyable Hike.
